The time is here again when we all start thinking about visiting (or exhibiting) at the Safety & Health Expo at the NEC in Birmingham. This year the show is taking place on 12th to 14th of May.Â
As we all know, the current economic climate is one that is causing many of us to re-think our budgets but I’m confident that many of you will make the trip to the exhibition, it is after all the best place to find cost saving solutions.Â
I believe this year’s exhibition will be one focussed on finding cost effective solutions for health and safety problems and at the top of that list for many will be training. Traditionally viewed as an expensive overhead, it’s vital that during these uncertain times we don’t stop providing training. No-one wants to experience the negative consequences of not providing training, including lost working time, bad press and fines.
Safety Media will be exhibiting at Stand O30 in Hall 2, where this year we are combining our DVD and E-Learning products on to one stand, meaning you can source all of your training requirements in one stop!Â
We will be celebrating the launch of our new DVD release Electrical Safety – Maniac, which is narrated by actor and TV presenter Craig Charles. Craig has very kindly autographed some DVDs for us, so if you’re one of the first 45 to place an order for the DVD at the stand you will receive a signed copy!Â
We are also offering appointments at Stand O30 to have an informal chat about your training requirements and the benefits E-Learning can offer you in terms of time and cost savings.
On Wednesday 13th at 11.15am we will be presenting ‘E-Learning during a financial downturn’ at the Product & Innovation Hub. Why not come along?
I hope to see you at the exhibition.
Keep safe!
Julian
